the melody of this song came to us in portugal 2007. we played it with flute, drum and many people on many instruments. then one of us travelled to turkey where she heard a girl sing the song with guitar. so she happily learned the lyrics and chords. 2009 in spain, an accordion crossed our way and with the accordion came a sheet of music- looking closer to it, we realized, it is this same song we heard first in portugal by a french girl, after heard it be sang by an austrian and now a catalan boy brought us the notes for a bretonic diatonic accordion. aho!
